Pastor Aaron Mupenda
Pastor Aaron is Clerk to Yearly Meeting and a past Head of College George Fox of Kagarama (CGFK). As a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and with over 10 years of experience in education, he understands that when poor students and orphans drop out of school it affects their future lives and can lead to a life on the streets. He believes that students can have hope for the future with financial and moral support.
Rev Jean-Paul Nsekanabo
Jean-Paul is currently Vice General Superintendent of Rwanda Yearly Meeting (Evangelical Friends Church of Rwanda) and previously served in many different capacities within the church. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the Reformed Theological College in Uganda and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Theology at the Nation to Nation University. He is a peacemaker and facilitates different peace programs including the Alternative to Violence Project (APV) and trains other pastors. He enjoys seeking ways to connect people to God, and developing a fellowship of believers. Jean-Paul is a social justice champion.
Cecile Nyiramana
Cecile has a degree in clinical psychology and is a past Clerk of the Rwandan Yearly Meeting. Passionate about peacebuilding, she is very concerned about vulnerable young people who don’t have hope for their future. In her peace career, she does everything she can to advocate for these young people. She believes that once we educate such young people, we give hope and positively impact their lives. It will not only help them but also their families and Rwanda at large.
Pastor Joseph Mugarukira
Head of ESK School and originally from the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) and born in 1976, Joseph studied management and administration at University. After graduation, he taught at College George Fox Butaro from 2005-2015. In 2016 he was promoted to Head Teacher at the Quaker School ESK. He is also a Pastor in the Quaker church.
