Working Hard to Achieve a Dream Steve Kaim-Caudle education August 13, 2019August 13, 2019 What does it take to become a doctor in Rwanda? Christella is studying maths, biology and computer science. She is 18 years old and wishes to become a medical doctor. Living in Burera District, near the Volcanoes National Park and within touching distance of The DRC and Uganda, she attends the ESK Quaker School. Her mum died last year and her father suffers from a bad heart so working the rocky ground is an ongoing struggle. But through sheer determination and hard work Christella came first in her class this term achieving an overall exam result of 68%. Forward Africa Education Trust is proud to support her and her fellow students in Rwanda.
